What occasions are the films for?+
The stories fit many moments, such as milestone birthdays, the birth of a child, a marriage proposal or remembering someone you love. Pick the story that feels like the person.
How long is the film?+
You can choose 1, 3 or 10 minutes. One minute works well as a short greeting. Ten minutes give the story plenty of room, for example for watching together at the party.
What languages are available?+
Films are available in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. The film starts out in the language of the website, and you can switch to any of the five. That's handy when part of the family speaks another language.
How many photos do I need?+
It depends on the story and the length of the film. Main photos carry the story, and supporting photos round it out. Pictures where people are easy to recognize work best.
Do I have to match photos to scenes myself?+
Photos are selected automatically. You see the suggested selection and can confirm it or swap individual photos until everything feels right.
What if I don't have a photo for a scene?+
The scene can be staged to match the mood of the story. Nothing is made up about the person's life. Your photos and details remain the basis.
What format will the film be in?+
Your finished film comes as an MP4 file. Each film is made in one format, which you choose before production starts. It helps to think ahead about where the film will mostly be shown.
When and where do I get the finished film?+
Production starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. You can follow the status in My Studio. The finished film will be waiting under My films, ready to watch and download. If it needs to be shown on a specific day, it's a good idea to plan ahead.
How does paying by bank transfer work?+
Your order shows the amount and the payment reference. We check incoming transfers by hand and match them to your order. After that, production begins. Your invoice is available as a PDF once payment is confirmed.
Can I share the film on WhatsApp or other apps?+
Yes. Your device's share option lets you send the MP4 to WhatsApp, LINE or other apps. You can also download the file and add it to any app you like. Each app has its own limits, for example on file size or length. You decide where the film is shown.
Is there a certificate I can hand over?+
Once your film is ready, you can create a personal PDF certificate alongside it. Add who it is for, who it is from and your message. Print it or share it with the film.
